Yes that is possible. TBW enjoys visiting markets and delicatessens when traveling and noticed quite a number of high-end supermarket delis having sliced foie gras (duck or goose) available in vacuum packs.
One day, while visiting a favorite deli in Metro Manila, TBW suggested to the Manager to offer sliced foie gras in vacuum packs available for the taking. What a pleasant surprise to hear the Manager say that their branch actually does it upon request. It was great news!

There is no need to purchase the entire foie gras. Quite a practical stand point especially if a portion of it is to be consumed only. One can even ask the butcher to slice the foie gras according to preferred specifications. Personalized cut I call it =)
